Sanctuary is dedicated to assist you to find the best retirement option
for your horse.
We can offer you
several options to make sure that your horse gets the chance it deserves
to live out its retirement years with dignity:
Retirement
livery
We offer retirement livery at competitive rates in a beautiful
country setting with professional care. Give your horse the
retirement of a lifetime with us. Stallions are welcome.
Rehabilitation
and homing
Whether you want to
sell your horse or give him away, allow us to find the best suited,
perfect home for your horse. We will rehabilitate and retrain your
horse to suit the needs of the new home.
Leasing
Should you not want
to sell your horse we will assist you in finding the home most suited to
lease your horse to.
Data Bases For
Sport Horses
- A data base of horses needing homes
- A data base of people who are looking for specific horses
- A data base that lists current and past owners of sport horses
- If possible a database of any horse that's off the track which will
allow past owners and breeders to track their horses
Sport Horse Rescue
Sadly many
competitive horses
are neglected, abused and left to starve after they are deemed
useless for further breeding, showing and competing.
Sport Horse Sanctuary is dedicated to assist in making sure that this
doesn't happen. We will rescue as many of these horses as
possible, rehabilitate them and find them loving homes.
Creating Awareness
We seek to bring
together the sporting industry and the individuals who seek lifelong
companions to suit their requirements, making sure that all sport horses
get the retirement that they deserve.
In order to do this
we plan to work closely with various breed associations and sporting
bodies to create awareness of the importance of planning for the sport
horses' retirement.
We also plan to
work closely with the SPCA's and Horse Care Units.

assist and not to judge!
